Climate Dialgoue: Low Carbon City for High Quality Living
With Climate Dialogue starting in just a little over a month, Civic Exchange is happy to announce that the conference registration is now open. A number of places will be open for public registrations for Days 1&2. Days 3&4 (5-6 November, 2010) are by invitation only.
This event will bring together guest speaks from all parts of the world to discuss climate change, propose ways of tackling it, and provide attendees with a solid understanding of how science, policy and economics will intersect within larger issue of climate change.

Get It Green - A low carbon creativity competition for youth in Hong Kong
For those who are competing in the Get It Green (GIG) and perhaps are still indecisive of what they would like to do, please keep in mind that the competition ends on 4 October 2010. We received over 200 submissions in total so far, but we want more! This is your last call, with less than a week to go and tons of amazing prizes just waiting to be claimed, hurry now and enter your submissions on the website!

Green Harbour II 7 September, 2010
Civic Exchanged organized a workshop that focused on the Fair Winds Charter and invited stakeholders to discuss, demonstrate and fine-tune their commitment to support emissions reductions in Hong Kong waters. The workshop invited participants to engage their headquarters in participating the Charter to help lessen the negative impacts ships have on the public health of Hong Kong.
The Fair Winds Charter was featured in the New York Times, CNN and the Ta Kung Pao.

Submissions
Policy Address Consultation on Environmental Issues 9 September, 2010
Civic Exchange submitted a letter to the Chief Secretary and Secretary for the Environment that expressed our views on environmental policies. The letter listed specific policy recommendations that would help to reduce air pollution, address issues related to natural conservation & management of rural land, climate change and energy.
